We are studying poetry in school right now. Here are 2 poem I wrote at school.

Bath Time Blues

I'm five years old, I'm big and brave.

My bed's a rock, my house a cave!

I'll battle a lion, I'll battle a shark!

I'm not afraid of the dark! 

Or the monsters who hide in my closet to eat

Me after I've fallen fast asleep.

I'm not afraid of you at all! 

Go take a hike! Go to the mall!

Go east or west! Take any path!

 but I refuse to take a bath!

Passing Time 

I'm watching the minute hand move on the clock. 

I'm hearing the music of ticking and tocks.

Every day time moves so fast, 

but now I am counting the minutes go past.

Shh! I am watching the hands on the clock.

I'm watching the sun sail through the sky. 

I'm smiling at clouds as they float by. 

Every day, time moves so fast

But now I am counting the minutes go past.

Shh! I am watching the sun in the sky.

I'm watching my green garden grow.

I'm caring for seeds that I sow.

Every day time moves so fast, 

But now I am counting the minutes go past.

Cousins Poetry

Aleana and I were on a sleepover when we were little to her house and we decided to write some poetry! It was when we were only very little, so please don't laugh.

        

  Before I go to bed

                   Before I go to bed I get out of my car. I see a star, and then I eat a chocolate bar! 

                          Before I go to bed my teeth start to rot, and then my horrid horse won't trot!

                       Before I go to bed I eat milk and cheese, and then my chickens get a disease!                                                           

                       I Wake Up In the Morning

I wake up in morning and I smell as sweet as a rose,

I wake up in the morning and I put on my clothes.

I wake up in the morning and I pet my parrot.

I'm so glad it's not a ferret!

I wake up in the morning and I see my sister.

Oh no! She's got a blister!

I wake up in the morning and I turn on my lamp.

Oh no! The carpet is damp!

New Ideas

Hi guys! you seemed to enjoy the Pirates! so I thought I'd write some more.  I'm working on writing a comic about a lion  and a tiger, named Leo and Stripes. I also thought I'd write one about some animals who escape from the zoo and are constantly running away from zookeepers. I have a few more ideas too, but I'm not sure if you'd like them as much, so maybe do you have any ideas? Stories, Poems, or more comics?
