Dinosaurs

On Sunday, Katie decided to make a book about Dinosaurs for Carl Van Dyke (Their family was over for lunch). She copied pictures and facts from a book and stapled it together, titled, Dinosaurs through the eyes of children. It was a great little booklet... except the fact that she misspelled 'through'. Then I looked over her shoulder and pointed out her mistake. Then inspiration struck. She asked how through was supposed to be spelled, but I didn't answer. I was to busy drawing.
Minor typo. . .

after a few minutes, I showed Katie my doodle. She thought it was hilarious, and asked to show the grown-ups. I was too embarrassed to show them though, so she waited till I was busy helping Mom serve pie to the Vandykes to show them.

They loved it as much as Katie did. Even now, three days later, all I have to to is say "Dinosaurs threw the eyes of children" and mom will burst out laughing. Dad told me I should post it on my blog, so I did. Hope you like it too!
